Annual Voters’ Day on Feb.1

The Annual Voters’ Day event organised by the Colombo District Office of the Election Commission of Sri Lanka will be held at the Sakya Higher Education Institute in Nugegoda at 3 p.m. on February 1.

It will be held on the theme of ‘Your Vote is the Future of the Country’.

The Chairman of the Election Commission, Commissioner General of Elections, District Secretary of Colombo, Election Commission officials and students of the Sakya Higher Education Institute will participate in this event.

During the event the online platform to register new voters will also be launched by the Chairman of the Election Commission.
