PC among seven arrested for searching ‘gold’

Seven persons including a police constable who tried to dig up a stock of gold which the LTTE is said to have buried, were taken into custody on January 24 by the Kilinochchi Police. They were arrested with a scanner, a car and two other vehicles belonging them.

The seven suspects will be produced before the Kilinochchi Court.
