Rs. 5,000 allowance paid to all in SP Education Sector

The special allowance of Rs. 5,000 has been granted to all employees of the education sector in the Southern Province from January, Provincial Education Secretary Ranjith Yapa said.

The Secretary also said that the Provincial Council spend Rs. 165 million for the allowance.

Meanwhile, the increased salaries of the Sri Lanka Principals' Service and the Sri Lanka Teachers' Service in the Southern Province have been revised and the revised salaries will be paid with the next month's salary.
