A dengue eradication programme by the Community Service Unit of the Kalutara North Police under Acting OIC Sisira Fonseka along with Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) from the Wadduwa MOH Office was carried out at the Usgodella GN Division recently.
Over 400 houses and other premises have been inspected by Wadduwa Head PHI S.A.D. Sananthe with three more PHIs to inspect if there were any dengue breeding places in the area.
Those who have not cleaned their home gardens were advised to keep them clean.
Kalutara North Community Police Service Chairman L.P. Edirisinghe, Secretary Ravindra Dissanayake, Western Province Dengue Control Unit Member R.M. Rohana Priyantha, Usgidella GN Division PHI Hasitha Rangana, Kalutara PS Deputy Chairman T.D.Jayasiri and the residents of Usgodella participated.
