Journalists protest in Kinniya

A protest was held in Kinniya on November 23 against the attack on journalists who went to cover the Kurinjakkeni raft incfident.

The protest by the Trincomalee District Journalists’ Association, took place on Wednesday (1) in front of the Kinniya main bus stand.

The journalists who went to cover the news in Kinniya on November 23 were attacked and they protested at the Kinniya Police Station that day despite a complaint that a mobile phone had been stolen.
