Ranjan hospitalised

Former Member of Parliament Ranjan Ramanayake, who was convicted of Contempt of Court and was serving time at the Angunakolapelessa Prison has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital yesterday due to a knee ailment.

After referring Ranjan Ramanayake to the Orthopaedic Clinic at the Colombo National Hospital, the doctors who examined the former MP have recommended that he be produced at the clinic again on November 16.

Ranjan Ramanayake was admitted to the Karapitiya General Hospital in Galle on November 10 from the Angunakolapelessa Prison and later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital on the advice of the doctors at Karapitiya.
