The Government has decided to administer a booster shot to selected groups, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) Army Commander General Shavendra Silva told the media today.
The Army Commander also said that, the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine will be administered as a booster dose for employees in health sector, tri-forces, police, tourism sector and other frontline workers after November 1.
