Maximum retail price for rice gazetted

The Consumer Affairs Authority also issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification setting the maximum retail price for four rice varieties .

Accordingly the maximum retail price for a kilo of Keeri Samba is Rs 125 while White/Red Samba - Steamed/Boiled (excluding Suduru Samba) at Rs 103, White/Red Nadu - Steamed/Boiled (excluding Mottaikarupan and Attakari) at Rs 98 and White/Red Raw Rice at Rs 95.
