Trincomalee District Secretariat Planning Director K. Parameswaran and Deputy Planning Director K. Sivadasan have been felicitated on their transfer at a farewell ceremony on August 30 by the District Secretariat Officers. Government Agent Saman Darshana Pandikorala presided over the event.
Selected through an open competition for the Sri Lanka Planning Service in 1994, they have been serving the people of the District for 27 years at the time of their new appointments.
K. Parameswaran has been appointed as Development Coordination and Supervision Ministry Director General and K. Sivadasan as Director General of the Women and Child Development Ministry.
Additional District Government Agent J.S. Arulraj, Chief Accountant S. Parameswaran and many others participated.
