Mattala Airport, a boon to Southerners

The Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport has proved to be a boon to the people in the Southern Province. Residents say that they had to go to the Katunayake International Airport to go abroad which cost them a lot in the past. They say, now, Southerners just have to spend only several hundred rupees to arrive at the Mattala Airport to go abroad.
