Man held for pawning fake gold bracelet

Galle Chief Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela on Saturday ordered the release of a suspect on bail who pleaded guilty to attempting to obtain Rs. 400,000 by pawning a fake gold bracelet. Subsequently the Magistrate suspended the sentencing of the suspect to August 19.
