Houses for two victims of earthslip

Foundation stones were laid to construct two houses for two persons who lost their houses due to a earthslip in the heavy rains in the Kalutara District during the last few days.

Ports and Shipping Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena layed the foundation stones for the houses.

Kanthi Senatilake and Chamila Jeewani of Yakupitiya in the Palinda Nuwara Divisional Secretariat Divisions will receive the houses.

The houses will be built in two months by the Disaster Management Ministry and the National Housing Development Authority, the Minister said at the Foundation Laying Ceremony.
