Over 2,400 COVID-19 patients recovered today

2,426 more individuals recovered from COVID-19 bringing the total recoveries in the country to 186,516, the Epidemiology Unit confirmed.

According to the epidemiology unit there are only 31,967 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.

The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 220,556.

The country has also witnessed 2073 deaths from the virus.
