Over 1100 COVID-19 patients recovered

1,172 more individuals recovered from COVID-19 bringing the total recoveries in the country to 167,304, the Epidemiology Unit confirmed.

According to the epidemiology unit there are only 33,357 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.

The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 202,357.

The country has also witnessed 1696 deaths from the virus.
