The Dambulla Dedicated Economic Centre (DDEC) will be opened for business from 2 am to 12 midnight on June 3 and 4. This was decided by the Agriculture Ministry and the Economic Centre Management Trust.
Agriculture Officers and the staff will guide farmers who bring agricultural produce to the Centre on these days. The produce that they brought and the way that they cultivated those will be recorded during the period. The information about the traders and farmers who come to the DDEC on the two days will also be collected.
