At the National Budget for 2021, the Government has made certain proposals for Taxes, which are to be implemented after effecting formal amendment to the Inland Revenue Act (No. 24 of 2017). The webinar covers the areas of Income Tax Concessions, VAT, New Exemptions, Rate Changes, Threshold Changes and Voluntary Registration. The proposed webinar will be conducted by a team of senior officers of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) that includes, D. R. S. Hapuarachchi, Deputy Commissioner General IRD, A. M. Nafeel, Commissioner, Tax policy Division and N. C. Wijewardena, Senior Deputy Commissioner Tax policy Division of the Inland Revenue Department.
They are in possession of long years of experience in the IRD along with very good training skills.
