Mobile vendors undergo RATs

Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) were conducted on 10 out 103 vendors selected at random during a special operation carried out by the Police between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 11.

The aim of these inspections were to find out whether mobile vendors who frequent public places in the Western Province are adhering to quarantine regulations.

The Police Media spokesman said that however, not one of the mobile vendors subject to the Rapid Antigen Tests had tested positive for COVID-19.

The Police Media spokesman who urged the people to adhere to quarantine regulations said that more Police inspection will be carried out in the future.
