Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the Computer Crimes Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department has commenced an investigation into a fake notice published in social media with the Sri Lanka Police logo.
He added that the police did not issue such a notice, and that they would not take responsibility regarding the fake notice.
