The “Entrepreneur Awards 2020 Western Province”, held by The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in association with the National Enterprise Development Authority concluded at the BMICH Colombo on March 10.
Secretary Ministry of Industries Anusha Pelpita was the Chief Guest and Anushka Gunasinghe Chairman and DG of NEDA was the Guest of Honour.
There were around 26 Awards, such as Sector wise and Category wise Awards, Special Awards and Overall Award together with 16 Merit Awards. Among number of awards women’ entrepreneurs presence has been strikingly significant and women participation and trust placed on NEDA and NCCSL was noteworthy to mention.
In addition to the Award for Best Entrepreneur Providing Most Number of Jobs for Females, awarded to Orel IT Private Limited.
