The third ‘Yowun Seela Samadhi’ (Youth Sil Campaign) programme, organised by the Ministries of Youth and Buddhist Affairs, was held at the Seruwila Rajamaha Vihara in Trincomalee, last Sunday. The project aims to build moral values among youth.
Youth and Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa, Parliamentarian Kapila Nuwan Athukorala, Government Agent Saman Darshana Pandikorala, Seruwila Divisional Secretary B.R. Jayaratne, as well as youth and religious dignitaries were also present. A tree-planting ceremony was also conducted after the event.
