Police in Jaffna have arrested two more individuals over the beating on the nine month old toddler in the Maniyanthottam area in Jaffna. Police earlier this week arrested the mother. Police arrested two more individuals who are believed to have taken the video on the instructions of the mother. Accordingly police have revealed that it was the brother-in-law of the mother who had videotaped the assault. It was also revealed that two individuals had sent the video to the father of the child who is in the Middle East.
