The Ministry of Youth and Sports has appointed a five-member National selection committee for Karate sport comprising senior Senseis attached to the Sri Lanka Karate-Do Federation.
Sensei. G. Paul Joseph is the chairman of the committee and the remaining four members are Sensei. T. D. Fernando, Sensei Anto Dinesh, Sensei C. J. Samaresekara and Sensei B. Anura Rathnadewa. The main task of this committee is to select the team that will represent Sri Lanka at the international karate championships during 2021.
