The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 50,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 50,337 and there are only 7,810 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 58,430.
The country has also witnessed 283 deaths from the virus.
