Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said yesterday (20) that it is the responsibility of parents to send their children to school as they cannot allow their children’s education to be delayed due to COVID-19.
The Prime Minister said this while participating in the 10th anniversary celebrations of Mahinda Rajapaksa Vidyalaya, Homagama yesterday (20) through ZOOM.
The Prime Minister said that contrary to statements, the education of children could not be delayed and parents had a huge responsibility to ensure continuity in a manner that is safe and healthy.
