425 more individuals recovered from COVID-19.
The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 45,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 45,171 and there are only 6,886 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 52,313.
The country has also witnessed 256 deaths from the virus.
