Steam for Dayagama Estate workers to protect from COVID

The Dayagama East Estate Authority has provided plantation workers with Ayurvedic steam for them to prevent from COVID-19.

Estate Superintendent Muditha Divakara has provided workers the entire estate with the steam.

The estate management board has taken steps to boil the Ayurvedic ingredients such as nika leaves, raw turmeric, tea leaves, raw ginger, and avocados in barrels and made the workers to inhale the steam morning and evening.

They also say that the Plantation Board has taken steps to replace their tea powder with coriander and ginger to boost their immunity.

The plantation workers also said that they appreciate the interest shown by their estate authorities to battle COVID.
