Dr. Dhammika Bandara, an ayurvedic practitioner from Hettimulla, Kegalle claims to have found an ayurvedic concoction which he claims can cure COVID-19 patients. He said that the base of the concoction is honey which is known the world over for its nutritional and medicinal properties. He claims to have given this medication to individuals who were suspected of having contracted the virus and are now allegedly cured.
He further said that the medication would work within a period of three days on an adult and anyone taking this at least twice a day will be safe from contracting the virus. See here is Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi taking a sip of the medication.
