The Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club senior player’s team beat junior player’s team 2:0 and emerged champions of the soccer encounter which was held at the Addalaichenai Public Play Ground recently.
This match was played to mark the introduction of new jerseys to Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club and it was organized by the Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club President M.I.M.Ashraff.
Senior players team opened their account just 20 minutes after the game started when their forward. I. Afrideen scored the first goal and A.J.Shifkar Ahamed netted the second goal for the winners.
Senior players team comprised, over 40 aged players of the Supersonic SC.
Addalaichenai Supersonic SC Athletic captain M.L.M.Sajinas refereed the match.
Supersonic SC Vice-President (Athletic) and former Addalaichenai Pradeshiya Sabha Member I.L.Abdul Munaff, Vice-President (Welfare) M.F.Naleer, Club Secretary A.M.Rifky, former Secretary and Addalaichenai National College of Education Lecturer A.R.M.Sadique, Supersonic SC officials and players were present.
