More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Japan and India was brought to the island last night, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly 288 from Australia, 420 from UAE, 06 from Chennai (India), and 10 from Japan are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

All 724 returnees have been subjected to PCR testing at the airport premises.
