Three arrested over Election Law violations

Puttalam Police arrested three persons engaged in illegal election propaganda activities, yesterday.

The suspects were said to have arrived in three-wheelers, and were promoting a candidate using loudspeakers. Their vehicles were also seized.

The trio has been released on bail. They are to be produced at the Puttalam Magistrate's Court, next Monday.
