Former cricketer Upul Tharanga, who was in the 2011 World Cup squad of Sri Lanka, gave a statement to the SIU yesterday on the same matter. He was quizzed for about two hours. Former Minister Aluthgamage gave a statement to the SIU on June 24.

The Unit also recorded statements from former cricketer Aravinda De Silva, who was the Selection Committee Chairman at that time.
