No court hearing at Hulftsdorp during this week

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided not to operate Civil Appeals High Court, Provincial High Court Commercial High Court, District Court and Chief Magistrate’s Court located in Hulftdsorp during the period 20th to 24th April due to the Keselwatte Police Division has been declared as a Covid-19 risk area.

Accordingly, suspects to be produced before the Chief Magistrate’s Court during this period will be produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court (Slave Island) which is an Additional Magistrate’s Court of the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.

The JSC announced that Bail matters and new Plaints will be taken up for consideration at the Fort Magistrate's Court.
