E-learning for university students

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has directed the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) to provide free internet facilities for undergraduates who have got registered at Government universities via e-learning method to carry out their academic activities.

The University Grants Commission has forwarded the details of such students to the TRCSL following Presidential directive, President’s Media Division in a press release said.

Director General of the TRCSL Oshada Senanayake stated that the e-learning program will commence from Monday (23) onwards.
