Ampara HC Judge named Bribery Commission DG

Ampara High Court Judge Kanishka Wijeratne has been nominated Director General of Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABIC).

According to the CIABOC spokesman, the appointment has been made by the Presidential Secretariat. The post of Director General fell vacant with the resignation of Sarath Jayamanne.

Jayamanne was an Additional Solicitor General when he was appointed Director General of the Commission in 2016.
