Outgoing SL envoy pays farewell call on UK Minister

The outgoing Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Manisha Gunasekera paid a farewell call on Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, the Minister of State for the Commonwealth, the United Nations and South Asia, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London recently.

During the meeting, the High Commissioner expressed her deep appreciation for the excellent support and cooperation extended by the Minister, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the British Government in enhancing Sri Lanka-UK relations during her tenure.

The Minister expressed his sincere thanks to the High Commissioner for the support extended as Sri Lanka’s envoy.
