Centre for Combating Tobacco launches app for filing complaints

The Centre for Combating Tobacco has introduced a mobile app “Tobacco Unmasked HotSpots” (TUHS) for the public to lodge complains against the illegal attempts of promoting tobacco by various means.

With this App, the public will get an opportunity to report activities of the tobacco and narcotic  and various devious means by which relevant companies promote its products.

CCT also expect to launch the third trilingual (English, Sinhala and Tamil) version of the TUHS mobile application this month enabling Sri Lankans to report data in their own language.

Any person can provide information via this App and identity of the persons as well as the information given will be kept strictly confidential, CCT Dr. Mahesh Rajasuriya said.
