SriLankan Airlines to relaunch Colombo-Frankfurt flights

SriLankan Airlines is considering relaunching flights on the Colombo-Frankfurt route which was abandoned in November 2016.

Head of Worldwide Sales and Distribution, SriLankan Dimuthu Tennakoon said that the route along with Paris and Milan were stopped due to operational reasons. “Due to various requests we are now considering to re launch the Colombo Frankfurt flights.”

Chairman SLTPB, Kishu Gomes said that there was a drop in German arrivals while the termination of the SriLankan direct flight to Frankfurt also attributed to it. (SS)
