An unbeaten 101 off 132 balls with nine boundaries and two sixes by Medunaka Wijethilake for Vidyartha was the highlight of the under 19 traditional encounter between St Thomas College Matara and Vidyartha which was hosted at the UyanwatteStadium.
Vidyartha electing to bat first scored 168 and had the home team on 59/5 at stumps on day one but the Thomian middle order saw them to 155. Kasun Karunathileke captured five wickets
Vidyartha declared their second essay at 173/5 after Medunaka reached his ton an over before the close of play.
