A 39-year-old man who was injured in a shooting incident was taken to Ratnapura hospital yesterday, Police said.
The victim was identified as Raddellagamaathi Ralalage Tissa Rathna Shantha, a resident of Galagamuwa-Karangoda in Ratnapura was shot near a three-wheeler halt on the Ratnapura-Raddella road.
The incident had taken place around 10.25 pm, last night.
The perpetrators of the incident have not been identified as of yet.
Ratnapura police is investigating.
