Lanthra Perera is the man who’s singing that can get anybody dancing and grooving when he starts performing with his band Doctor. Everyone who knows him, will tell that you can never get bored listening to him. He is crazy mad (in a good way), knows how to keep his audience wanting more and truly is passionate about giving the best of everything through his vocal cords. Even when he’s on vacation, he still finds the time to have a quick Q&A with me.

A: Professionally from the age of 16
Q: How did you find the passion for music
A: It descended down from my father Nimal Perera (former Gypsies Bassist)

A: Pop Music
Q: When and where was your first performance
A: I'm not sure about the exact year but it was at the Talent Search which was at Nawa Rangahala
Q: Biggest idols – Sri Lankan & International.
A: International - Adam Levine, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney from Beatles. Local - Rookantha Goonathilake, Sunil Perera and Bathiya & Santhush
Q: What has been the craziest thing you’ve experienced at a gig
A: There were some moments where this one person loved the music so much he literally life threatened us to continue even after the event hahahaha...

A: My wife and my phone

A: Release our new Music Video and do preps for the upcoming local and foreign shows
