No. citizens are not asleep, but the government is asleep. The dengue brigade is going round intimidating people into cutting down trees. This country will eradicate dengue but will end up having a worse problem to solve due to indiscriminate cutting down of trees. Mosquitoes don't breed on trees, for the information of those stupids unless there are cavities filled with water, which is very rare. Therefore, cutting down trees and removing shrubs and plants is not the answer. Cleaning MC drains and seeking a biological method to control the dengue parasite is the answer to the problem. Seeking an answer to one problem should not create an even worse problem.
