STRIKE ME PINK! I thought we Australians had a revolving door when it came to Prime Ministers. Please Ladies and Gentlemen, my head is spinning. I implore you Sri Lankans to steady the Political Ship. Although a foreigner, I have lived in Sri Lanka back in the 1950s and loved the place. I was saddened by the turmoil the subsequently ensued, and was delighted when at last; a Unity government finally brought tranquilly to your Island. Then Mahinda resurfaced but I must say, he impressed me by resigning. FOR GOD'S SAKE SRI LANKA SETTLE DOWN, and watch prosperity follow. Bury your feuds. I saw what happened to South Viet-nam when serving in that country as an Australian Soldier. Corruption, Greed, envy and what happened; Millions died and that country went down the gurgler. Viet-nam has since resurrected itself. How about doing the same Sri Lanka, for the sake your people. I wish you all well.

If the sri lankan politicians suck the central bank for billions of ruppees, which is sucking all the loans given to sri lanka for development by IMF, then the only way to hold them rulers accountable for their dispicable acts is for the international community to stand up and attach more strings and accountability for the money lent - otherwise all aid and loans given to sri lanks ends up in the hands of the powerful political coffers. It is the IMF to dictate the terms of loans to sri - lanka- Unless the corruption is brought under control - this robbery is never going to end.
