Brig. Roshan Seneviratne new Military Spokesman


Brigadier Roshan Seneviratne has been appointed the new Military Spokesman. His predecessor Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera is leaving to the United Kingdom on a military course, on September 4.

Outgoing Military Spokesman Brigadier Jayaweera made this revelation yesterday at the Cabinet briefing at the Information Department. 

When questioned by a media personnel about the report on Salawa armory, he said it would be revealed to media in future when the report was ready.

Jayaweera said three separate investigations progressing on the same incident and added that one is done by the Defence Ministry under the directions of the Army Commander while the other by the CID.

He said once the reports were ready they will be submitted.
