SLC Marketing goes digital

Sri Lanka Cricket, the country’s most profitable sports body, will go ahead through Digital Marketing.

ICC representative and it’s head of Digital Sales, Unmish Parthasarathi presented how SLC should evolve through this newest concept, which Cricket Australia and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are currently using.

Singapore based Parshasarathi said Sri Lanka is a unique cricketing nation which he tagged as the ‘Asian Calypso’.

“Sri Lanka has produced extraordinary players, who have been entertaining fans across the world in the calibre of players such as Lasith Malinga, Thisara Perera, etc,” said Parshasarthi rattling out a few names.

“Sri Lanka has a very good fan base in the country and around the globe, especially in Australia, England, Canada and many more countries.

“SLC brand travels all across the world, they support the team carrying the Lion flags, which shows the brand of Sri Lanka Cricket. It’s a big difference from the cricket fans of other countries,” Parthasarathi said. - (SJ)
