Rev. Fr. MUTUTANTIRIGE ANTON JAYALATH FERNANDO,​ of the Archdiocese of Colombo,​ expired on Tuesday the 30th of May 2023. He is the beloved son of the late Mr Aloysius Fernando and late Mrs L. Agnes Mendis. The remains of Rev. Fr. Anton Jayalath Fernando will lie in state at St. Anne’s Church,​ Kurana from today,​ 30th of May Tuesday 8.00 p.m. to Wednesday 31st of May 10.00 a.m. and thereafter transferred to the Sacred Heart Chapel,​ Archbishop’s House,​ Borella. At 6.00 p.m. Remains will be taken to St. Charles Borromeo Church,​ Willorawatte. Funeral will be held on Thursday,​ the 1st of June 2023. Requiem Mass will be at 3.00 p.m. followed by burial at the St. Charles Borromeo Church Cemetery at Willorawatte. Archbishop’s House,​ Borella.032783
