The 54th Sunila Sangrama Big Cricket match between Ambalangoda Dharmasoka Vidyalaya and Ambalangoda Sri Devananda Vidyalaya will be held on April 1 and 2 at the Ambalangoda Municipal Stadium.
Dharmashoka Vidyalaya has won 13 matches out of the 53 matches held in the history of Sunila Sangrama matches. Sri Devananda Vidyalaya has only won two matches including last year.
It is noteworthy that Devananda Vidyalaya recorded its first victory in 1966 and the second victory in 2022 after 56 years. 38 matches between the two schools have ended without a win or loss. Captain Senita Halemba's Dharmashoka Vidyalaya team is aiming their 14th victory and skipper Kaweesha Kalpana's Sri Devananda Vidyalaya team is aiming their third victory with the second consecutive victory.
Dharmashoka Vidyalaya, which competes under the first group of inter-schools, has faced five matches this year and has won three matches and finished one match without a win and lost one match.
Sri Devananda Vidyalaya, which competes under the second category of inter-schools, has won three matches out of five matches this year, finishing one match without a win and losing one match.
