‘Snowdropper’ arrested at CNH

An employee who sneaked into the women’s dormitory of the Colombo National Hospital (CNH) and stole underwear was caught by the security personnel and handed over to the Maradana Police.

Hospital sources said that the suspect had kept three undergarments in his possession when he was apprehended by Hospital security personnel. Nurses in the dormitory had alerted the security department regarding the disappearance of underwear from the women’s dormitory. When the suspect entered the dormitory as usual yesterday (19), he was caught stealing the underwear that was left on the clothesline, Hospital sources said.

Police said the suspect is a health assistant and he is resident of Kalutara. The suspect was to be produced in court yesterday.
