Home Affairs State Minister Ashok Priyantha yesterday said that services provided by the government institutions will not be hindered even though 30,000 public officials retire from the government service from December 31.
State Minister Priyantha yesterday said their retirment will not hinder the continuation of the services provided by the government.
The State Minister was speaking at an awareness programme for public officials in Puttalam yesterday. The objective of this programme is to streamline the services provided by the Registrar General’s Department.
He added that amendment will be brought to the law in the future, if there is any difficulty for the public in obtaining a birth certificates. The aim of the present government to streamline the services provided to the public by government institutions.
