SLIIT Business School hosts Int’l Conference on Sustainable and Digital Business

SLIIT Business School is conducting the International Conference on Sustainable and Digital Business 2022 (ICSDB) on December 1-2.

The conference will present ICSDB Excellence Awards to selected winners in a unique precedent, recognizing distinct sustainable and digital business initiatives.

The inaugural two-day conference themed ‘Towards digital sustainability’ will enable researchers and practitioners across the globe to share their findings, practices, opinions and challenges with an audience of like-minded participants.

The conference is graced by a lineup of distinguished keynote speakers, namely, Professor John Bessant, Emeritus Professor of Exeter University; Professor Jaideep Prabhu of the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge; and Professor Muthu De Silva of Birkbeck, University of London. The venues for the two-day conference is Waters’ Edge Hotel, Battaramulla and SLIIT, Malabe Campus Main Auditorium.

The conference will attract leading CXOs and practicing managers from diverse industry sectors as well as researchers from Sri Lanka and overseas who will share their insights, success stories and results of research in an array of domains under the themes of sustainable and digital business.

The ICSDB Excellence Awards 2022, scheduled to be held on December 1, aims to recognize Sri Lankan enterprises that have initiated a digital business initiative and established it as beneficial to various stakeholders under the ICSDB Index criteria of Ingenuity, Continuity, Scope, Deployment and Benefits. The ICSD Excellence Awards will present accolades under the Gold, Silver and Bronze categories. An eminent group of judges, including practicing managers from industries, representatives of industry bodies and academics, will comprise the panel to select the winners.
