Former Skipper Babar Azam 88 in 113 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes and skipper Azar Ali’s 43 in 119 balls with 3 fours help Pakistan to score 277 for 7 wickets at close of the first day’s play in their three day warm up game against Sri Lanka Cricket XI played at Colts cricket grounds yesterday.

Pakistan chose to bat first to get good batting display throughout the first day while two spinners Lasith Embuldeniya 2 for 83 and 20 year old off spinner Lakshitha Manasinghe finished the day taking 3 for 83.

This is the only warm up game before the Sri Lanka Pakistan Test series which will start on July 16 in Galle.
